Shaxpeare Car Wash in Kertész Street awarded in the 2022 Theatre Critics Awards

In the "greatest foreign theatre experience" category of the 2022 Theatre Critics Awards, the top spot went to Shaxpeare Car Wash in Kertész Street, a quirky and updated adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet by Péter Závada, directed by Viktor Bodó and performed by Budapest's Örkena István Színház. The production was seen at our festival last year.
