This production, by a representative of the youngest generation of Czech directors, is inspired by the story of photographer Miroslav Tichý. Tichý, whose surname means "quiet" in Czech, was often seen by the world around him as a madman, voyeur and alcoholic, but in the last few years of his life he became a sought-after superstar and media darling. This exceptionally compelling scenic collage brings to the stage something of the poetry of Tichý's underlit, obscure photographs.
