Exhibition 30 years with the Divadlo International Theatre Festival

An extensive exhibition of photographs installed in Smetanovy sady looks back at the three decades of the Divadlo International Theatre Festival. The unique photographs – many of which are now presented for the very first time – have been selected from the rich archive of Jaroslav Prokop, a leading Czech theatre photographer, who has documented the festival from its early years. They capture famous international productions, visits of prominent artists, personalities associated with the festival, outdoor events in Pilsen streets, and much more. Many of the photographs had been newly digitised for this occasion. Together with the photographer, the exhibition was prepared and curated by Jan Kerbr.
